  • About your individualized therapy plan

You’ll work with your own personal therapy team to perform strengthening exercises during your rehab stay at Southmont on our lovely tree-lined Washington campus. Therapy services are available seven days a week based on your needs and your doctor’s orders. Your personalized care plan includes activities that you typically enjoy doing, whether it’s gardening, meal preparation, or pet care.

Our relationship with you does not stop when you leave. Upon discharge, you will receive follow-up exercise instructions. We stay in touch to check on your progress. It’s just one more way we help you get back on your feet.

  • Many different forms of therapy

We use therapy modalities such as electric stimulation, ultrasound, diathermy, and hot/cold packs for strengthening, pain control, wound care, range of motion and relaxation. We encourage family members to attend therapy and do everything we can to keep everyone up-to-date on progress. Our relationship with you does not end when Rehabilitation is complete. Post-discharge, we'll follow up to make sure you're still able to enjoy your daily activities.
