Innovative Dementia Care in a welcoming, secure setting.

Our engaging, personalized services are voted No. 1!

We are leaders in providing dementia care for individuals who want to retain as much independence as possible. At Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, we are passionate about helping to create greater awareness and support for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

Over 25 years ago, we built one of the nation’s first dementia-specific residential communities, Woodside Place of Oakmont, which changed the way Alzheimer’s and dementia care is provided across the nation. Presbyterian SeniorCare Network challenged the traditional nursing home model with a flexible dementia care program that enhances quality of life and helps persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias THRIVE! Our Woodside program is available to meet persons where they are in their journey.  We are excited about the opening of  Washington’s first free-standing specialized dementia community, Woodside Place of Washington, which is licensed as assisted living and will be offering an adult day program. Additionally, the Woodside Program is available in our Southmont skilled nursing center on our Washington, PA, campus. Offering a full continuum of dementia care support on our Washington campus enables residents to easily transition if and when their disease progression requires higher levels of nursing care.

Assisted Living for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Woodside Place was created based upon our more than 25 years of innovation and experience. This split-level, two-story community features 36 comfortable resident rooms, sunny and open communal spaces for socialization, spacious dining areas and a specially designed space for Adult Day Services.

As a Dementia Care Center of Excellence, Presbyterian SeniorCare Network has pioneered an approach that is person-centered – a mindset and a lifestyle that empowers each person to maintain their individuality and dignity, creating routines based on their preferences and schedules not ours. All of this in a safe and comfortable environment.

Woodside Place also features the latest technology to improve the safety and quality of life of persons with memory or sensory impairments.
