Short-Term Care
After illness or surgery, you want to get back on your feet as rapidly as possible. Southmont rehabilitation team’s individualized therapy plans —physical, occupational, and speech—are designed to get you well, home, and back to your daily life quickly.
Care Philosophy
Our therapists and nurses work closely with you and your physician to create and implement individualized care plans for joint replacements; post-fracture; post-spinal surgery and other musculoskeletal conditions; stroke recovery and other neurological conditions; Parkinson’s disease; and general strengthening after hospitalization.
We use therapy modalities such as electric stimulation, ultrasound, diathermy, and hot/cold packs for strengthening, pain control, wound care, range of motion, and relaxation.
Rooms and Dining
Our dedicated short-term rehab floor has private rooms with full kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms designed to feel like home, not a hospital. We offer bright, spacious accommodation and you may choose to have delicious meals served in the privacy of your own room or in the lovely dining room nearby.
